Safelog - new printouts!

SafelogWeb users have for a few months now been able to use a host of cool new printouts that we have avaialable, including more JAR-FCL and FAA types. Now, these printouts are available for Safelog PC users too! Update your copy of Safelog to the latest version (free!) and click on 'print' from Safelog's main menu and then selection option 2 to see these. Alternately, visit our online pilot logbook at www.safelogweb.com, try a demo, and click on "printing and reports" to see how these look.

GroundSchool better than a classroom!

Thanks for this great software! After taking an expensive and long classroom course I wasn't confident, but by using your reasonably priced software I quickly became confident. I learned much more from the explanations that you provide for each question than I did from the teacher. With you, my money was well spent. I took the test and got a 97%! I am very happy!
When i decide to take the Instrument and later the Commercial, I'll definitely use Dauntless' GroundSchool again!

Thanks to your Dauntless test IFR written and Oral test prep programs, a lot of practice, and a great CFII, I passed my instrument written in Feb 2010 and my IFR check ride in in May. I have recommended your web site to several local pilots and my CFI.

I purchased your software a couple of months ago. I'm 66yrs old and a student pilot. I took my knowledge test yesterday and passed with a score of 98%. I always chose "all questions" and "hardest level" when doing a simulated test.

Product Updates

As usual, we have released a steady stream of updates to our products (all updates are FREE to registered users.) Here's a short sampling:

Our SafelogWeb.com online pilot logbook has had a brand new printing feature introduced which allows printing/output in more useful formats that any other - PDF, MS-Word, MS-Excel, and so forth. Currently, there are but a few basic report types there, but we're hard at work at adding several dozen more to the list.
Our Safelog PC software continues to evolve with regular updates due to regulatory changes so that you can stay safe, documented, and legal. Look for a bit of a facelift for this product in upcoming versions and also support for all the cool new SafelogWeb printouts that we've described above.
Our test prep software, including our FAA, JAA, and Transport Canada continue to get content upgrades as new questions come in from the various aviation authorities.
Our iPhone version of the GroundSchool test prep software continues to be delayed, a bit frustratingly. We continue to work with Apple and our iPhone team to finish this and release this ASAP.
A dedicated Safelog pilot logbook application for iPhone is in the works.

GroundSchool for iPhone update

Our GroundSchool for iPhone application has long been delayed as we, umm, perfected it. We're happy to announce tha the FAA Private Pilot version is now in the 'approval' process at the iTunes app store. If the good folks at Apple approve it, it will be on sale shortly, and then we'll submit the rest of the GroundSchool FAA products for their approval (they are all built on the same codebase, so it makes sense to do just one as a test case first). Fingers crossed we'll be offering our first FAA test prep for iPhone to the general public via the iTunes appstore by early next week!

Outdated or underperforming pilot logbook?
